Stuart Smith
Senior Technical Officer - Victoria Branch
Start date: October 2010

Stuart has extensive mission-critical radio system engineering experience having held roles at TR Bearcom, Vertel, Motorola and Victoria Police. Stuart has worked on many emergency service networks and was involved in the rollout of the Motorola MMR and MDN projects, as well as designed communications for the V8 Supercars events throughout Australia. Stuart started his career at Philips in the late 80's working at the Clayton facility.

Alister Fisher
Software Team Leader - Victoria Branch
Start date: September 2010

Alister has many years of embedded development, design and leadership experience with telecommunications products and protocols. He will be developing code for the SRM600 Mobile Transceiver product.

Kevin Foo
Software Development Engineer - Victoria Branch
Start date: September 2010

Kevin has extensive TCP/IP, PIC, ARM9 and SW development and testing experience at various companies including Seagate (Harddisks) in Singapore.

Chris Wang
Software Development Engineer - Victoria Branch

Chris has several years of embedded software experience developing e-bicycle applications using PIC and ARM processors in China.

Doug Ruckman
Business Development Manager - QLD Branch

With over 20 years' experience in the Radio Communications industry, Doug has worked with Uniden Australia, Gencom and most recently TR Bearcom. Doug’s recent history has involved working closely within the Government sector, in particular QFRS and the Dept. of Corrective Services.

Paige Gillespie

Before joining ComGroup Paige completed her VCE, went on to study a Diploma of Sports Development/Athlete services and also completed her Certificate II in Business Administration.

Andrew Wyborn
Projects Manager - Victoria Branch
Start date: August 2010

Just prior to joining ComGroup Andrew was the Ops Mgr for FireWatch Australia, who were involved in the Federal Government trial of “Early Bush Fire Detection”. Andrew also had a position at Vertel as the Ops Mgr, responsible for the Mgt of 40 Comms Sites including Eureka Tower as well as the Project Mgt of all installations including a new 2 way radio system for Qantas at Tullamarine Airport, the installation of 350 radios for Readymix, provided P25 user training to over 700 Aviation Rescue Fire Fighters around Australia and the installation of over 40 point to point high speed microwave links, including a 190Mbps 5 hop link from Geelong Hospital to Warnambool Hospital.

Peter Holman
Business Development Manager - Victoria Branch

Peter has a vast depth of industry experience with 15 years working for Hutchison Telecoms and most recently contracting with Crosscom. Peter has also been involved with the emergency services for 40 years as a volunteer with the Country Fire Authority.
